Include a Closing

You should always include a closing. It shows that you are a professional in business life. But when you don’t use it, you become an unprofessional person. And you have little chance to be chosen.

Consider Your Relationship with the Recipient

There are different closing words. If you send an e-mail message to your close friend, you can use “Cheers”. But when you send an e-mail message to your boss, you should use “Best Regards”. One of them is professional and other is unprofessional.

Avoid Unprofessional Closing

If you send an e-mail to your colleague, you shouldn’t use “Cheers”. You must be professional, and you should write “Regards”.

Use Your Full Name

You shouldn’t use your nickname or just name. You should use your full name. So, you can avoid being a confusion who you are.
